The real estate at Siemensstraße 88, Hotel, Office and Student Hub, parts of the commercial district TwentyOne, was purchased jointly by Bondi Consult and MC Projektentwicklung (a company of the Cserni Group) at the beginning of 2020. Despite a three month lockdown we have been able to record considerable progress with these three components.
Land use designation
The redesignation process of the City of Vienna for the property at Siemensstraße 88 has been completed. The designation as mixed building land (industrial building area) is legally binding and therefore permits the building of offices, hotels, student apartments and the like.
A submission plan corresponding with the designation for all three components – Hotel, Office and Student Hub – has been submitted to the City of Vienna. Bondi Consult and MC Projektentwicklung are confident of receiving building approval by the summer of 2021.
Hotel Hub / Operator
Despite the current difficult framework conditions, Bondi Consult is in very concrete discussions and negotiations with a well-known, international hotel operator. Due to the agreed confidentiality, details of this cannot yet be communicated.
